We joined some pretty good women the other day to go up to the Ohio Statehouse to speak up in opposition of AI data centers and you can hear the love so many have for southern Ohio and the whole state. We all matter more than Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Meta or Oracle or XAI. We aren’t for sale.

And as said in person too to Chavez since we were unable to make it Tuesday, Free Palestine! 🇵🇸

No to the rich!

No to a surveillance state!

The data center's environmental impact goes well beyond electricity. It takes enormous amounts of water to cool those servers. One facility alone consumes millions of liters in a day, particularly those that utilize evaporative cooling systems. In already water-stressed areas, this additional pressure can impact agriculture, ecosystems, and even domestic water supplies.

Quick facts:

Tap on the fact for source. If there is no link it's because the fact is within another link of another fact. Take some time to read.

Data Centers consume massive, increasing amounts of energy and water, potentially 12% of U.S. electricity by 2028. Massive energy needs can increase risks of blackouts or require expensive, tax payer infrastructure upgrades. High energy demand can drive up electricity rates for local residents and businesses.

•Data centers use millions of gallons of water for cooling, sometimes depleting local supplies and competing with agricultural needs. One center uses from 11-19 million liters a day, equivalent to the daily water usage of a town with 50,000 people.

•Data Centers are highly automated and create few long term jobs.

Data centers are major contributors to climate change. Climate change increases violences against women and children. "While climate change foes not directly cause violence, it intensifies pre-existing socio-economic and environmental factors that negatively impact women and girls, putting them at risk of increased violence. This includes financial instability, water scarcity, food insecurity, loss of shelter and conflict."

United nations warns world is entering water bankruptcy putting billions in potential serious danger.

Data centers could contribute to 600,000 asthma-related symptom cases by 2030 with overal health costs exceeding $20 billion.

•In regions already burdened by public health challenges stemming from environmental racism and gentrification, these troubling health impacts will disproportionately affect communities of color and exacerbate existing health disparities.

•Generating one Al image uses almost as much energy as charging your phone.

Greg Levy

Sherrod Brown

Jon Husted

In Sherrod's last election he lost against Bernie Moreno. This election, the majority of democrats are pushing folks to vote for Sherrod, again but against Husted. Democrats continue to push the same people, even the same ones who have previously lost and think that's the route they should take to restore and better this country from the fascist pathways. We encourage folks to read about Greg Levy. Everyone claims that we need out of the two-party system but when Ohio has that chance, they don't want to take it. Democrats will say a vote for Greg is a vote for Husted, we could say the same thing about their vote for Sherrod and we will. Sherrod Brown is also a massive receiver of AIPAC, he received over $1,300,000 his last time in office. There are too many of us that will no longer vote for anyone who is okay with the murdering, rape, starvation, bombing, pshycological warfare on any entire population. This includes Obama.

A vote for Sherrod is a vote for Husted.

OHIO AND GERRYMANDERING/OUR NEW MAP

"The Redistricting Coup. We’re not watching politics. We’re watching a power grab.

In the span of a week, Donald Trump and the Republican Party have launched a multi-state campaign to rig congressional maps, erase voters from the census, and weaponize law enforcement against elected officials — all in service of one goal: permanent GOP control of the House.

This isn’t theory. It’s not a warning about what might happen. It’s happening right now — in Texas, in DC, in Indiana, and in every room where power can be manipulated and lines can be redrawn.

Cementing minority rule doesn’t always look like tanks and mobs. Sometimes it looks just like this: illegal censuses, rigged maps, and corrupted institutions."

The new map is in and we are all disappointed. We have lost counties while adding many more. David Taylor's area just got much bigger for him to not have any town halls for any of his constituents. David Taylor only cares about his wallet, businesses and Israel. Our democrats (also in favor of Israel and capitalism) have been pushed to smaller districts.

NOVEMBER 3RD, 2026 ELECTION DAY

Voting at every election is extremely important and it's our duty. Voting won't clean up all of this, voting won't get us the lives we've lost over this term of Trump's presidency but it will move towards lessening the harm of others in the future. You can demand what you expect from your democrats, you can speak up on what bothers you as a constituent, you can hold folks accountable and still vote for those democrats if you choose. Do not expect to elect democrats and never standing up for what they need to do or don't need to do what makes anyone think they will work in our favor and not choose for themselves like they have been throughout their candidacy? Consider everyone, consider socialists if you have that option on your ballot. Ohio, it's time.

Vote. Vote in primaries, specials, generals.

Call, write, email or show up to your state and local leaders offices.

PROISRAEL RECIPIENTS

Ohio current Representatives receiving funds by Pro Israel lobbying and Ohio past Representatives who received funds by Pro Israel lobbying.

The Ohio Treasury now holds a total of $312.5 million in Israel bonds. Every treasurer of Ohio has invested Ohio in Israel bonds. It's time we end that.
