Genocide as defined by the Geneva Convention is the "deliberate killing of a large number of people from a particular nation or ethnic group with the aim of destroying that nation or group." Israel is committing genocide in Gaza. More than a thousand human rights scholars, tens of human rights organizations, many countries, and the United Nations special rapporteur on Human rights have all testified that the threshold indicating the commission of the crime of genocide by Israel against the Palestinian people of Gaza has been met.

Since October 2023, the Israeli military (with the support and weapons supplied by the United States) has killed more than 59,000 Palestinian people, the majority children and women, destroyed 90% of the housing and other infrastructure, and is now engaged in starving the remaining Palestinians with a blockade that keeps water, food, and medicine from entering Gaza.

The least we can do is demand that Congress stop arming this genocide and start facilitating the entry of U.N. humanitarian aid to Gaza. Call U.S. Congressional Representative, David Taylor,
